TEACHING DUTIES
	2007-present: University of California, Irvine, California; Lecturer of Music, Double Bass
		Recruited and supervised a studio of bassists. This included private lessons, orchestra sectionals, and recital preparation.
	2008-present: Concordia University, Irvine, California; Double Bass Instructor
		Recruited and supervised a studio of bassists.
	2008-present: Saddleback College , Mission Viejo, California; Double Bass Instructor
		Recruited and supervised a studio of bassists.
	2005-present: Lemur Music, Director of Educational Programs
		Perform recitals and master classes in the community as well as traveling to schools in the Southwest to give lecture recitals, sectionals, and workshops. Organize audition-preparation summer camps for the Pacific Symphony Youth Orchestra and All Southern Orchestra. Organize an annual Mock Audition for high school-aged double bassists judged by bassists from the Los Angeles Philharmonic, the San Diego Symphony Orchestra, and The Los Angeles Opera. Secure sponsorship for the above events from vendors, schools, and private institutions. Teach private and group lessons.
	2005-present: Irvine High School, San Clemente High School, Trabuco Hills, Laguna Hills High School, String Coach
		Teach individual and private lessons. Lead bass and bass/cello sectionals. Substitute conduct the string orchestra (Irvine High School).
	2003-2005: Luther College, Adjunct Music Faculty
		Recruited and supervised a studio of 12 bass majors. Presented a weekly seminar/master class and an audition repertory class. Performed in various faculty performances. Taught the bass component of "Class Strings for Music Education Majors" class.
	2002-2005: Cornell College, Visiting Artist of Bass and Guitar
		Provided private lessons for major and non-major students on double bass and guitar. Taught "Class Guitar for Music Education Majors."
	2004-2005: Lutheran Summer Music Academy and Festival, Faculty
		Taught "Basic Music Theory," "Introduction to Jazz Improvisation," and "Music History" classes. Coached string chamber music and small jazz ensembles. Co-coached and played tenor and bass violas da gamba in the Collegium Musicum. Recruited and supervised a studio of bassists.
	2000-2003: University of Iowa, Graduate Teaching Assistant
		Taught non-major double bass students Assisted with the "Orchestra Audition Repertory" and "Technical Studies" classes. Taught the bass component of "String Methods for Music Education Majors."
	1997-1999: Jordan College of Fine Arts, Butler University, Graduate Assistant
		Served as the librarian and manager for the symphony and chamber orchestras.
	1996-1997: Greater Hazleton Philharmonic, Teacher
