TEACHING DUTIES

Recruited and supervised a studio of bassists. This included private lessons, orchestra sectionals, and recital preparation.

Perform recitals and master classes in the community as well as traveling to schools in the Southwest to give lecture recitals, sectionals, and workshops.
Organize audition-preparation summer camps for the Pacific Symphony Youth
Orchestra and All Southern Orchestra.
Organize an annual Mock Audition for high school-aged double bassists judged by
bassists from the Los Angeles Philharmonic, the San Diego Symphony Orchestra, and The Los Angeles Opera.
Secure sponsorship for the above events from vendors, schools, and private institutions.
Teach private and group lessons.

Lead bass and bass/cello sectionals.
