I have had double bass students of all ages and abilities. In addition to my degrees, my experiences as a late-beginner, middle and high school coach and teacher, adjunct faculty, and Director of Educational Programs at Lemur Music puts me in a unique position to groom students for auditions, recitals, scholarships, and competitions. There are several locations in Southern California that I visit weekly for lessons: San Clemente, Irvine, Mission Viejo, Laguna Beach and Orange. In-home lessons can be arranged as well. Contact me to arrange a free trial lesson.

I have several students that I teach via webcam. I use a Logitec Qucikcam Orbit AF, and prefer to use iChat, but have a number of chat programs available.

5 or 6 Sundays in the summer, I hold bass seminars at Saddleback College in Mission Viejo, CA. They are free and everyone is welcome. We usually begin with a number of progressive group exercises, read bass ensemble music, and perform for each other. Afterwards we sometimes eat together or head to the beach. I will post the 2010 Sunday Seminar dates as soon as my summer schedule firms up.
