Current Students:
In an effort to bring some normalcy and structure during this strange interval, I am offering free video lessons via Skype, FaceTime or Zoom to the students I usually see as a walk-on coach at University High School, Irvine High School, Trabuco Hills High School, Mission Viejo High School, Vista Verde and Plaza Vista.
I know some students have instruments at home, but most don’t. In this case I can demonstrate various things on my instrument, discuss music/bass/practice, or with the free app Zoom, guide them through various remarkable music performances on Youtube via the share-screen function and highlight what makes them special.
As a parent myself I’d like you to know I am a classified employee of the Irvine Unified School District and Saddleback Valley Unified School District, meaning the district has vetted me via Livescan fingerprinting and a federal background check. If you are unwilling or unable to sit-in on the video lesson, I ask that you send me some sort of written permission to be engaged in an unattended video call with your child.
